‘In Every Day, New York Times bestselling author David Levithan presented readers with his most ambitious novel to date: Every morning, A wakes up in a different body and leads a different life. A must never get too attached, must never be noticed, must never interfere.
The novel Every Day starts on Day 5994 of A’s life. In this digital-only collection Six Earlier Days, Levithan gives readers a glimpse at a handful of the other 5993 stories yet to be told that inform how A navigates the complexities of a life lived anew each day.
In Every Day, readers discover if you can truly love someone who is destined to change every day. In Six Earlier Days, readers will discover a little bit more about how A became that someone.
Sometimes I wonder if it is possible to convey so much emotion in so little words. The answer is yes, and Six Earlier Days is the perfect example.
If there is a person capable of doing that is David Levithan. I still remember myself crying reading The Lover’s Dictionary over one sentence chapters. He can say so much with almost no words at all. His work gets to me like very few others have. Continue reading
Yup, today is my birthday and I turn 21! Yay me! 😉
(I know you’re seeing the number 22, but for my sake I needed Rob with me on my birthday so, you know… deal with it!)
Given the big occasion, and that I’ve been a succesful blogger for three full month (successful meaning I’m still here), I thought I could do a big giveaway.
What do you say? You agree? Yeah, me too!
I took my time picking the books I’ll be giving away. Since I live in Uruguay and taxes suck and I don’t have a job, I’ll be giving away ebooks, so yes, it’s international! YAY! 😀
Now to the list, and let me just tell you that they are all on my favorites list, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Are you ready? Yes? Let’s do this! Continue reading
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted on Mondays by Sheila from Book Journey. It features the books you read last week, books currently reading, and books you plan on finishing this week.
Let’s see… I’ve been slowly submerging myself on reading again after some serious study sessions a.k.a reading deprivation. 😉
This is all I could read this past week:
Delicious was rather amazing. I really liked it. At the end I found myself hoping it would go on for a little longer, but I have hope that by reading the following books in the series (which I totally intend to read) I’ll learn a little bit more about how it turns out for Penny and Cal. 😉 [I should have the review up sometime this week]. Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and ebooks.
This was a very awesome week for me. There were so many releases I was dying to get that I didn’t even know which to get first. Crazy week, I tell you! So many new books to add to my endless tbr. I sure have enough books right now to last me a lifetime.
Thank goodness for ebooks, or else I would need an entire room to fit all this books, and my apartment is so not ready for that! Lol! So, after this week there might not be another StS next weekend! xD
So, why am I still talking? Let’s see what I got this week!
I’m positive I got every book I’ve been dying to read for weeks, and then some. I have read Inbetween already, and let me tell you, it’s good! And I have started reading Every Day already. I should have both reviews up sometime this week. I hope you all got some awesome books too! And don’t forget to leave in the comments your StS link!

Every day a different body. Every day a different life. Every day in love with the same girl.
Every morning, A wakes in a different person’s body, a different person’s life. There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere.
It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin’s girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply. Because finally A has found someone he wants to be with—day in, day out, day after day.
This is just one of the many books I cannot wait to read. Thank goodness the 28th is not so far off! So, what are you waiting on?
