Waiting On Wednesday: A Trick of the Light by Lois Metzger

“Waiting on” Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights an upcoming release we are greatly anticipating.

This week’s selection is:

Book: A Trick of the Light

Author: Lois Metzger

Release Date: June 18th, 2013

Goodreads | Amazon | B&N

Book Description:

Mike Welles had everything under control. He was a good student, an outfielder on the baseball team, a good son, a loyal friend. But that was before. Now things are rough at home, and they’re getting confusing at school. He’s losing his sense of direction, and he feels like a mess.

Then there’s a voice in his head. A friend, trying to help him regain control. More than that: The voice can guide him to be better and stronger than he was before, to rid his life of everything holding him back. To figure out who he is again. If only Mike will listen.

Why I’m waiting:

A Trick of the Light sounds dark and intense, just the way I like it. And okay, yes. I’m all over that cover. Yeah. Whatever. You already know my “cover problems” ;)This is one of my awaited 2013 releases. Eeek!

So, what are you waiting on?  Leave a comment with your WoW link below and I’ll make sure to check it out!

  1. Ohhh hot and creepy cover both at once! LOL Interesting synopsis though it doesn’t give too much away. Curious what his problems are like and if he can work through them.
